ECO4 scheme support remains available for eligible households seeking heating system improvements and insulation measures. The Great British Insulation Scheme also operates year-round, allowing homeowners to improve thermal efficiency while weather conditions favour installation work. Households can check their eligibility through official channels to determine available support options.
Who qualifies for summer energy grant support
Qualifying benefits for energy grant schemes include Universal Credit, Pension Credit, and several other income-related benefits. Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit recipients may also qualify if household income falls below £31,000. The Energy Company Obligation schemes target low-income households living in properties with poor energy efficiency ratings. Eligibility assessments consider both household income and property characteristics to determine suitable improvement measures. Peter Davies at freeboilerupgrade.uk notes that over 7,000 installations have been completed with a 4.9/5 customer rating.
